Literally "Green of Greece" Remains verdigris is a dark patina finish that recalls the green oxidation on weathered brass, bronze, and copper. The metal is first blackened and then has salts applied to bring out the mottled green tones. Left outside this oxidation will slowly and beautifully progress. CARE: Wipe if necessary with damp cloth. Use no strong cleaners or abrasives.
