Circa 1910
A large eight-light chandelier in its original fabulous gilded finish. The eight bowed ribs of the elliptical frame are mounted by alternating caryatids and hermes. The arms spring from a central cluster and project between the ribs. The fixture is finished below with a swirling ribbon and a massive tassel. By the New York maker E. F. Caldwell.
