A pair of antique Caldwell sconces with their original gilded copper and green painted finish. The diamond-shaped backplate frames a low relief image of a brazier. The scrolling arms are dressed with teardrop crystals and rise to support beaded waxpans and candlecups. Signed by the New York maker E. F. Caldwell & Co.
