From the Remains Archive. Available by inquiry.
A sunburst chandelier suspended from three delicate chains, the solid brass rays reflect light in a starburst pattern on the ceiling and walls and let slivers trace through the faceted bottom. Inspired by the sun motifs in Tony Duquette’s “California Sunburst” stage curtain for the LA Music Center (1964) and his San Francisco Canticle of the Sun exhibition.
This work remains available through the Remains workshop as part of the Archive, an evolving collection of prior studio designs, custom works, and historical references.
