From the Remains Archive. Available by inquiry.

A cast solid bronze shell motif sconce based on an original example found in Tony Duquette’s warehouse. This shell design was first used by Duquette for his house in Paris c. 1950, and throughout his career. In the 18th century, “Rocaille” referred to a type of Rococo decoration using shells, corals and river stone. Tony Duquette called his version “Natural Baroque.”

This work remains available through the Remains workshop as part of the Archive, an evolving collection of prior studio designs, custom works, and historical references.
