The Racquet and Tennis Club building on Park Avenue, designed by Charles McKim of McKim, Mead, and White, happens to be lit by tons of E. F. Caldwell Co. fixtures… a source of constant pleasant distraction for me.

Alix, Judy, Deirdre, and I found ourselves there last Saturday for the ICAA Holiday Cocktails and Auction. We ran into a number of friends and colleagues but my dislike of flash photography did in my efforts at capturing the event.
