Another LCDQ Legends comes to an end after a whirlwind three day celebration. We kicked of Legends with a light breakfast in our LA showroom. We were joined by the Commune partners and previewed the new additions to our collaborative atelier line with the Los Angeles-based designers.
The ICAA SoCal co-hosted John Simpson in our showroom for a lecture and book signing. Simpson, the architect behind the Queen’s Gallery in Buckingham Palace and the new architecture school at Notre Dame, illustrated the relevance of classicism in contemporary practice with examples from his prominent commissions and new book about his work. Timothy Corrigan opened the lecture and introduced Mr. Simpson.
Our David Hockney inspired window by Philip Gorrivan. In accordance with the True Colors theme, Gorrivan paid “homage to color.”
Between events, we strolled though LCDQ to admire the decorative windows and displays. We loved to see our antique Caldwell Table Lamp in Zio & Sons‘ garden VIP Lounge as well as a Salem Exterior Wall Lantern in Betsy Burnham‘s two-sided window display.
Looking forward to seeing everyone next year!
